Postpartum Support

As a postpartum doula, I assist you in the transition to parenthood. Each postpartum shift is tailored to the immediate needs of you and your family.  Support includes care for the birther, care for the newborn, and care for the new family. Postpartum doulas are up to date with the latest research and information regarding postpartum recovery and newborn care. As your doula, I can help provide unbiased and non-judgmental information to give you confidence in all your parenting decisions. Postpartum shifts may include:

Choose the package that fits you and your family’s needs. Package hours are based on daytime shifts, and require 4 hours minimum per day.

Pay as you go: one day support $30/hr	Resource Finder: $60 Discount 52 hours $1500
Confidence Builder: $200 Discount 100 hours  $2800	Fully Covered $450 Discount 150 hours  $4,000

Overnight:

Overnight shifts include 8 hours of care and run at $280 a night (can be an add on with the discount rate of that package). Any shift beginning after 9PM are charged at the overnight rate. Overnight doula support can help you develop a system of nighttime parenting to maximize your whole family’s sleep. Overnight support include:

• Troubleshooting a night nursing schedule (which can include bringing the baby to you to nurse and putting baby back to sleep when finished)
• Preparing and feeding or assist with overnight feeding
• Diaper changing as needed throughout the night
• Soothing baby between feeds or assisting you with nighttime soothing techniques

*Reasonable accommodations must be made for doula to rest while baby/babies are asleep

*Discounts for multiple overnights available upon request
